For more than 20 years, the Asian Labour Update (ALU) has been the platform for activists and labour researchers to share updates and analysis about the Asian labour movement. Contributors to the ALU come from AMRC’s wide network of grassroots labour activists, academics, human rights lawyers and labour professionals in Asia.
The ALU also shares news of workers' struggles in different countries that are not normally featured in mainstream sources. It also informs readers about useful resources, such as books and videos; and publishes urgent appeals and statements from labour organisations across Asia.
We seek informative, analytical and thought-provoking contributions that can be relevant for labour unions, social activists and researchers. The contributions should be under 2,000 words. References should follow the Harvard citation style. You may use this reference generator.
